When a woman is 3 weeks pregnant, she has conceived! The ovulated egg must have been fertilized and implanted in her uterus, even though the woman may not know she’s pregnant yet.

When you’re 3 weeks pregnant, you should increase your vitamin intake. Folic acid, iron and calcium are crucial for nourishing your baby. You can take 400 milligram folic acid supplement to prevent birth defects. 1,200 milligram calcium is essential for the development of bones.
You can take foods rich in calcium like leafy green vegetables, dairy products and legumes. At least 30 milligrams of iron should be taken daily. Iron helps to support the increase in the blood volume of your baby.
Legumes, eggs, red meat and leafy green vegetables are the best sources of iron. In addition to foods rich in minerals and vitamins, you need to take supplements when you’re three weeks pregnant.
